about
I design things that people need; by listening with empathy to their background and goals for the project; using my abstract thinking and problem solving skills (nurtured by my liberal arts education) to fabricate solutions; and bringing my own visual ideas and sense of style (gathered from a lifetime of artistic immersion) to these solutions. I want to make the text and images that people encounter in their everyday lives more aesthetically pleasing and easier to understand.
I am a native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, where I attended Greenhills School. I graduated from Amherst College with an honors thesis in the department of Art & the History of Art and my thesis show featured 16mm as well as some sound pieces. My films have shown in the Ann Arbor Film Festival (MI), the Media City Film Festival (Canada), the Haverhill Experimental Film Festival (MA), and the Five College Film Festival (MA).

I have worked for the past two years as the graphic designer for Chromatica Chorale, a well-established community based choir in Danville, CA. Please see my resume to learn about my work history and education.
